The Central Bank of Solomon Islands is seeking to recruit a suitable and qualified person for the position of Digital and Financial Literacy Officer within the Financial System Development & Payments

The potential candidate must have essential minimum experience and qualification below.

  • A Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Finance, Economics, Psychology, Social work.
  • Required but not mandatory
  • Innovative
  • Initiative-driven, collaborative
  • Coordinate and administer the Consumer Empowerment Working Group (CEWG).
  • Coordinate bilateral meetings and conduct site visits to Consumer Empowerment stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and Conduct the Financial Competency Training of Trainers Program to all Constituencies (NFIS).
  • Coordinate and Conduct Digital Literacy and Financial Literacy and, Disseminate Digital & Financial information Regularly.
  • Assist with implementation of projects and/or pilot projects relating to Consumer Empowerment and Digital & Financial Literacy.
  • Make available relevant disaggregated data & key information on Consumer Empowerment and Digital & Financial Literacy.
  • Consider Women Financial Inclusion in all NFIS Consumer Empowerment and Digital & Financial Literacy activities undertaken aligning to National Women’s Financial Inclusion Policy (NWFIP) 2022 – 2026.
